The first day was all about recap and addition:

Elastic adhesive bonds
Adhesive types, mutual comparison
Design and strength calculation
Test methods
Anaerobic adhesives
Practical anaerobic adhesives
Hardness measurements of cured 2C epoxy

After an instructive, interesting day, we had a drink together, outside in the sunshine, to a successful first day. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious dinner with the group at hotel Van der Valk.

On the second day, participants were allowed to introduce their own topics. Several practical topics were covered:

High-speed mixers
Hardness measurements on prepared samples
Testing of anaerobic specimens
Group discussion around adhesive technical challenges from practice, brought in by the participants themselves

Overall, a very successful European Adhesive Specialist Refresher 2022!
